Has Black Panther bitten the dust? Will Groot re-grow? Avengers: Infinity War laid waste to a shocking number of Marvel’s mightiest heroes. But have they really shuffled off this mortal coil, or will they back in time for Avengers 4? The Avengers 4: Endgame trailer finally arrived Friday, and with it came some more info about the fates of some of the characters left in limbo after Thanos snapped his fingers and wiped out half of the universe. As fans have noted, Shuri’s fate isn’t looking great, with her picture included in a ominous-looking screen alongside Ant-Man. Shuri was one of the biggest characters whose fate was left ambiguous at the end of Infinity War, and this doesn’t exactly look promising for her snap survival chances. Ant-Man survived…and he’s already back? But, Scott Lang (better known as Ant-Man) is included in a similar screen, and we know from the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp that he avoided being snapped after being caught in the Quantum Realm. At the end of Infinity War, the Avengers didn’t know about Ant-Man’s status, so it’d make sense they’d assume he had been snapped.
