TESCO workers have been left feeling petrified after their ‘amazing’ manager died during a Covid outbreak. Some 50 staff working at the store in Stretford, Greater Manchester, are now ill or isolating, while the rest must test negative before they return to work. ⚠️ Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates Now staff are paying tribute to the woman dubbed the “Tesco Stretford mum” who died after working through the whole of the pandemic. One staff member said: “I personally knew this colleague who died, and she was a very lovely and selfless lady. “The whole of Tesco Stretford is still in shock and it’s still very raw for us.
