Previous Next 1 of 4 Fitness wearable manufacturer Fitbit and female-specific health app Clue have joined forces to give women a new way to track their personal health. McLaren is one of the elite players in the exclusive high-end supercar game. When you think of the name, you think high-stakes racing, you think performance, you think fast. However, in a departure from what McLaren is most famous for, on May 15 the British automaker unveiled the McLaren GT, its first-ever grand tourer (GT) model. “Designed for distance, it provides the comfort and space expected of a Grand Tourer, but with a level of agility never experienced before in this segment. In short, this is a car that redefines the notion of a Grand Tourer in a way that only a McLaren could,” said McLaren Automotive CEO Mike Flewitt in a statement. So what’s so significant about a GT? Well, grand tourers are high-end street cars intended to go quickly and comfortably over vast distances and extended periods of time. They tend to be two-seat coupes — think Porsche 911, Aston … [Read more...] about The recently revealed McLaren GT is a road trip-ready supercar
Google has gained access to U.S. health records as part of a new project. The Wall Street Journal revealed Project Nightingale, a joint effort between Google and Ascension that gave the former access to patient information from more than 2,600 hospitals. The Journal reported that Ascension offered Google access to patients' health records, names and addresses. "Health records" is a bit of a catch-all: Google was said to have access to lab results, birth dates, hospitalization records and diagnoses. Yet it wasn't made public knowledge until the Journal's report, at which point both companies made statements. Google Cloud said it was "proud to announce more details on our partnership with Ascension [...] to support them with technology that … [Read more...] about Google’s Project Nightingale Gave It Access to US Health Records

The two watches will be sold alongside each other — the Versa is one of Fitbit’s most successful smartwatches to date after all, thanks to its robust features and relatively low $200 price tag. The company took the best of the Versa and bundled it into the new Versa Lite, while also removing just a few features. That means you get an even more affordable, entry-level smartwatch.
