After infecting and subsequently wiping out untold multitudes of unfortunate virtual patients, Bio Inc has made the trip from iOS to Android. Bio Inc bills itself as a biomedical strategy simulator. What it really amounts to is annihilating it humanity one virtual person at a time. Bio Inc bears more than a passing resemblance to Plague Inc. The obvious difference is that you aren't trying to kill all of humanity. Instead, you need to take out a single patient at a time by evolving into the most lethal medical condition possible. Technically that should be less creepy than Plague Inc, but somehow that isn't the case. Each victim—er, patient, has a different difficulty level depending on how robust their immune system and overall health happens to be. The game gives you an overview of the patient's various body systems like muscular, renal, and circulatory. As bacteria and viruses show up in the body, you have to tap on them to collect points. Those points can be spent to give … [Read more...] about Bio Inc. Infects Android with Biomedical Strategy Gameplay

Time Inc. has signed a deal with Apple that will allow print subscribers to access iPad versions of its magazines for free. Starting Monday, subscribers to Fortune, Sports Illustrated, and Time can read these magazines on their iPad by entering an authentication code identifying themselves as print subscribers, the Wall Street Journal reports.
