Inferno (1980) Inferno is the second entry in Dario Argento’s Three Mothers trilogy, following on the highly successful Suspiria of 1977. Though it may pale in comparison to its predecessor, Inferno still cherished much of the styling and effects that made Suspiria stand out, from the evocative color palettes to the thrilling nature of its underlying narrative. Upon the sudden disappearance of his sister, which follows closely upon her finding of a rather odd book called The Three Mothers, Mark Elliot (Leigh McCloskey) leaves Rome immediately to uncover her whereabouts and to investigate the deeper depravities locked away within her New York City high-rise. Of course, you’re better off getting the Surface Pro X with its tangible refinements both in hardware and performance, but it’s one of the most expensive machines in the market. What you get with the Surface Pro 7 is what we’ve already come to expect: A gorgeous display, top-notch build quality, updated processor performance, and outstanding battery life. And finally, we’ve got a USB Type-C port! This means fewer cables in general since the USB-C port can handle power delivery, video output, and data transfer at the same time. … [Read more...] about Apple MacBook Air, Microsoft Surface Pro 7 in the bargain bin at Best Buy
The film’s performance essentially elevated on-demand streaming from a second- or third-tier option to a viable alternative to theatrical release, and this news didn’t go over well with AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc., the world’s largest theater chain. AMC responded by banning Universal films from its theaters going forward — a gamble (or bluff, depending on how you look at it) that could cost the chain billions of dollars and arguably do more to hasten the theater industry’s demise than help it. … [Read more...] about After coronavirus, what happens to Hollywood and movies?
