The washing machine settings on the top span from the middle to the right, with lots of options. In the middle of the control panel is a knob for choosing the type of wash you want. Options include drain and spin, sanitize with oxi, bedding, colors, PowerWash, normal, cold wash, wrinkle control, delicates, rapid wash, and clean washer with Affresh. You’ll notice there’s no setting for Whites. Between the other options available, you can create your own option for handling them, though. You can fine-tune your selection by choosing water temperature, soil level, spin speed, deep fill (on/off), oxi, extra rinse, and deep clean. … [Read more...] about Maytag MVWB765FW Top Load Washer review

We ran a variety of loads over a couple of months and were happy with the results overall. The sensing mechanism in the dryer did a great job at not overheating clothes, which means items didn’t shrink and our fabrics were still in good shape. We should note that some heavier items such as bulky jackets and sweatpants still had some damp spots after a normal load. In both cases, Keen’s designers came up with safe, nontoxic alternatives that are better for the health of their customers and the planet, all without sacrificing performance. In keeping with its philosophy of just doing what is right for their customers and the environment, those updates were silently introduced without so much as I press release to announce the changes. … [Read more...] about Keen wants to save the planet one pair of shoes at a time
Turn on Cinder, select Sandwich recipe (or manually set temperature to 375 degrees Fahrenheit). Lay two slices of bread on the cooking plate. Distribute cheese between the two slices of bread. Pace a slice of bread on top of each pile of cheese. Optional; sprinkle additional cheese on top of the top layer of bread. Cook for 5-10 minutes, depending on desired color and surface finish of the sandwich. There are a few problems here. One, there isn’t currently a “sandwich” option in the app. Two, am I supposed to use the butter on the plates? It’s never made explicit in the directions, though I inferred the answer is yes. I left the sandwich cooking for the recommended five minutes, and the bread came out a little browner in some areas than I’d like, but that was an easy adjustment to make for the next time. … [Read more...] about Cinder Precision Grill review
