Gaming notebook manufacturers may have found a new ally: cryptocurrency miners. DigiTimes today reported that the ongoing GPU shortage has led miners in China, Taiwan, and South Korea to purchase laptops featuring RTX 30 series graphics. They aren’t planning to play games with the systems so why pay for other high-end parts? We already knew that some miners had turned to gaming notebooks , but the efforts to essentially buy a GPU with a laptop for a case are new, and the report suggested that relying on these devices is becoming more popular than originally expected. … [Read more...] about Cryptominers Prop Up the Gaming Notebook Market: Report

Specifically, let’s say you have a robot mop on an automatic schedule. It cleans while you’re away, and then your cat walks across the wet floor. Offended in a way that only cats can be, it licks its now-wet paw to clean itself. Is there any risk to your pet? Most robot mops only use water Although different companies might use different mechanisms, they share one thing in common: Water. Harsh chemicals can break down the tubing that carries water through the mop, which is why manufacturers say water alone (combined with a slightly abrasive scrubbing pad) is enough to clean most floors. So, … [Read more...] about Are robot mops safe when children and pets are present?
