Chingari The U.S. isn’t the first country to have tensions with TikTok and its parent company, ByteDance — that would be India. And while TikTok is no longer available there, a new app has taken its place as the go-to rhythm-dancing platform. Chingari has acquired over 10 million users, and it’s safe to assume that its meteoric rise is correlated with India banning over 50 Chinese apps last month. Like TikTok, the app lets users create and share videos with a musical background. It’s worth telling you beforehand that Chingari is catered toward the Indian demographic, so expect most of the content to be based on its culture. Besides that, the app is pretty straightforward — scroll through viral videos on the main page, explore genres, and share with those around you. … [Read more...] about The best TikTok alternative apps for Android and iOS
Weighing a little more than a pound and a half, the 907X 50C takes on a classic look with a black leatherette wrap body and chrome trim, aesthetics that mix with the shape of early Hasselblad V system film cameras. The digital back also moves to the built-in battery design used in the modern X system, which allows for a smaller body as well as USB charging. Despite the smaller size, the camera still accommodates dual UHS-II SD card slots, ports for audio and flash, and built-in Wi-Fi and USB-C. … [Read more...] about With a 50-megapixel sensor, the Hasselblad 907X 50C is vintage in looks only
These scores are a little lower than the OnePlus 8 Pro, and lower on 3DMark than the Exynos-powered Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, although the Xperia does beat it on Geekbench 5. I didn’t notice any performance deficit. I like gaming on the Xperia 1 II. I played mostly casual games, spending way too much time on Hill Climb Racer, mostly because the phone is very comfortable to hold in landscape orientation. The widescreen 21:9 aspect ratio looks great, the screen is incredibly sharp, and I didn’t really miss a higher refresh rate either. When playing more graphically intensive games like Real Racing 3, the phone copes superbly and never gets hot. … [Read more...] about Sony Xperia 1 II review: Stand out from the crowd
Alongside the X1D II 50C , Hasselblad announced the CFV II 50C digital back and 907X camera body, a modern take on one of the most iconic film cameras ever made. As part of the same V system that Hasselblad has been building for decades, you can use the new digital back with V series cameras and lenses from some 60 years ago, from a time before digital photography was even a dream. The CFV II even features the same chrome trim as those older camera bodies, completing the aesthetic. … [Read more...] about Hasselblad’s CFV II and 907X are a modern take on a photography classic
